dealer.sulake.com
The whole installation can only be completed if you have access to Johno or your local Community Assistant.
Click here to watch the flash installation guide.
Please be patient whilst the flash movie loads, it will appear to be a blank page but after a minute or more (depending on your connection speed) it should load.
Feel free to watch the movie now and watch it all the way through, then come back here and get your instructions on installing the digital certificates.
One thing to remember is that it is a movie similar to what you can play in your media player. Hence you can stop, pause, rewind, etc with the controls up the top that are similar to that of the media player controls.
Copy and paste this URL into your address bar of the browser you use for Housekeeping https://theallseeingeye.sulake.com as per the movie.
Add the page to your favorites (bookmark it for Firefox/Internet Explorer). At one stage of the installation, you have to reboot your browser, and this will make it easier for you to find your way back to these instructions.
On the first pop up that appears, click the option to "Accept this certificate temporarily for this session".
On the first pop up that appears, click "OK".
You will now be presented with a second popup asking you for a username and password.
Input your Sulake email username and email password, not your moderator password.
Follow the movie and click on the word "here" in the sentence asking: "If you haven't installed the CA cert, do it by clicking here"
Tick the 3 boxes in the popup as per the movie, view the certificate to make sure it is from Sulake.
Click OK.
Save the certificate to desktop.
Start to import the certificate by double clicking on the file.
Proceed through the wizard leaving the options as is (default).
We will now download the certificate for installation from the Sulake server by downloading a small file
Cut and paste the URL provided to you by your local Community Manager either in an email or by other secure means, if you did not receive this please contact your local Community Manager or Johno.
Click on go and as per the movie save the file to your desktop.
Using the drop down menus on your browser, go to: Tools > Options > Then under the advanced tab find "Certificates", expand that tree if it isn't already, then click on "Manage certificates". Another popup will appear, as per the movie, import the certificate you just downloaded.
Double click the file which has been downloaded (most likely desktop, unless otherwise specified by you), then follow the import certificate wizard.
You can only enter the password for this section when you are talking to Johno or your local Community Manager; it is only to be distributed by word of mouth and is not to be recorded for any reason whatsoever (you will only need to enter it once).
After entering the password a popup will be displayed confirming it is correct. Keep clicking OK until you are back at the browser, with all pop-ups closed. We are close to completion now. Close and reopen your browser for the certificate to be recognised.
IMPORTANT: It is essential that you shut down your browser now and restart it so your browser recognises the ceretificate you have just installed. This writing is in a different colour so you can easily find your way back to this point to continue the installation.
After logging back into the "theallseeingeye" as we did previously (email username and password) navigating to your local Hotel HK (through ASE) should not longer produce a 403 (Forbidden) page.
Choose the appropriate site and toolset from the list and click on the extra link.
If you receive error -12271 after installing the certificate, close your browser, wait for 5 minutes and try again.
Enter your MOD-username and password to access HK as per normal.
When using Housekeeping you will now have to go through "theallseeingeye" in future to access HK. The reason for this new system is for improved security and tracking purposes.
In summary this will mean you will first enter your Sulake email username and password to access "the eye", then your mod username and password to access HK after "the eye" has verified you're allowed into HK!
